# # Koç Leather & Fur > > Koç Leather & Fur is a family-owned premium leather and fur store founded in 1968, based in Istanbul's historic Grand Bazaar. Specialising in handcrafted leather jackets, fur coats, and luxury outerwear, the brand represents three generations of Turkish craftsmanship. Products are made to order and sold exclusively through its physical stores in Istanbul — there is no online shop or e-commerce functionality. > ## About Koç Leather & Fur was founded by Ilyas Koç in 1968. Ilyas trained as a furrier in Vienna before returning to Istanbul, where he opened his first shop in the Grand Bazaar. His pioneering approach to styles, colours, and techniques quickly distinguished the brand. Today the business is run by three generations of the Koç family: Ilyas Koç (Founder), Rezal Koç (Managing Partner), Serdal Koç (CFO), and Alex Koç (CTO). The brand's core values are craftsmanship, integrity, sustainability, and innovation. ## Products & Materials Koç Leather & Fur produces handcrafted leather and fur garments. The selection is updated regularly in-store and online.
