Koç Leather & Fur was established by İlyas Koç in 1968, beginning its journey with a modest shop in the Grand Bazaar. İlyas Koç honed his skills in the furrier trade during his youthful years in Vienna. Upon his return to Istanbul, he was captivated by the bustling and dynamic marketplace of the Grand Bazaar. Recognizing a promising business opportunity, he chose to stay, gradually advancing in his career and accumulating the necessary funds to open his own store.

Once Koç Leather House was launched, İlyas Koç noticed a lack of innovation in the leather industry. In response, he began experimenting with various styles and colors of leather, introducing bold and unconventional designs to the market. This daring move proved successful, as his unique creations were well-received and celebrated.
